In this tour you will be visiting the following three UNESCO World heritage sites of the Kathmandu Valley:

Swayambhunath – Also known as monkey temple is located on the top of a hill overlooking the Kathmandu Valley. The Stupa is associated with the story of a legendary Boddhisatwo of China, Maha Manjushree.

Kathmandu Durbar Square – The central and old part of Kathmandu where many old temples collapsed during the 2015 earthquake and now being restored. You can see Hanuman Dhoka Palace, Kumari – the living goddess temple, Freak streets etc. here.

Patan City – The most ancient city among the three cities of the Kathmandu Valley dates back to the end of 3rd century A.D. The city is also known as Lalitpur which literally means the city of “Arts and architecture”.

Itinerary in Details

9.00 A.M. pick up from your hotel to drive to Swayambhunath. After Swayambhunath you will drive straight to the Kathmandu Durbar Square where you can do a short walk through the famous Freak street. Lastly we will drive to Patan city, the oldest city of the Kathmandu Valley.
