We had a half day tour of Kathmandu with Susan. The tour was excellent. She is very knowledgeable about the area. I really wanted to see a Kumari and last minute she was able to arrange it. It was a memorable unique experience .We attended the Aarti at Pashupatinath which was fascinating. We appreciate Susan’s detailed explanation of the rituals we observed and staying late so we could watch.

Ich war im Oktober 2025 mit Anil eine Woche in Kathmandu und Umgebung unterwegs und habe die Zeit mit ihm sehr genossen. Anil ist ein erfahrener Guide, auf den man sich hundertprozentig verlassen kann. Er kennt sich überall bestens aus und zeigt einem auch Orte, die man allein nie finden würde. Anil hat die Geschichte der Orte auf sehr interessante Weise vermittelt. Besonders gut fand ich, dass wir die Orte zunächst gemeinsam besucht haben und er mir dabei viel über ihre Hintergründe erzählt hat. Danach hatte ich immer genug Zeit, um alles in Ruhe selbst zu erkunden und ausgiebig Fotos zu machen. Auch die Organisation der gesamten Reise – von der ersten Kontaktaufnahme per Mail über die Ankunft bis hin zur Abreise – hat lückenlos und hervorragend funktioniert. Anil hat jahrzehntelange Erfahrung als Tourguide, spricht etwas Deutsch und gibt absolut alles dafür, dass seine Gäste eine wunderbare Zeit haben. Außerdem spielt er unzählige Instrumente und singt hervorragend. Es kann schon mal passieren, dass er im Café spontan die Mundharmonika hervorholt und ein kleines Ständchen spielt – einfach wunderschön! Ich kann Anil wirklich von Herzen empfehlen.

He knows his way around and even shows you places you'd never find on your own. Anil conveyed the history of the places in a very interesting way. I particularly liked that we first visited the places together, and he told me a lot about their backgrounds. Afterward, I always had enough time to explore everything on my own and take plenty of photos. The organization of the entire trip – from the initial contact via email to arrival and departure – was seamless and excellent. Anil has decades of experience as a tour guide, speaks some German, and does absolutely everything to ensure his guests have a wonderful time. He also plays countless instruments and sings brilliantly. Occasionally, he'll spontaneously pull out his harmonica in a café and play a little serenade – simply beautiful! I can truly recommend Anil wholeheartedly.

Susan was the best tour guide we could hope for. She was very helpful during the months before while I was organizing my tour in Kathmandu. She came up with suggestions and organized everything from the tour to the driver and the accommodations. Moreover she has a great knowledge, everything was explained in details and we had our free time for pictures and shopping suggestions. I really think she is a Pearl in the tourist sector and you will be more than lucky to have her! Definitely I will contact her again on my next visit! Thank you Susan

Me and two friends have just returned from a wonderful trip to Nepal, wonderful also thanks to our guide Anil. His in-depth knowledge of Nepalese history, culture and traditions has made every stage of the journey an opportunity to learn something new and fascinating. His calm, kindness, patience, availability, but above all sympathy made every moment even more special.
